Tiens Online Training Lesson 8: Scheduling and Planning
Here we need to work out and find the time to commit into business building activities in order to see the business grow. Every new distributor or anyone that truly wants to see this business grow needs to make the commitment of securing and setting aside the time to do the daily activities needed for growth.
So, how do we schedule this time?
Below you will find the weekly schedule/planner to help you mark aside the time for the said activity. Feel free to either download it or use the embedded version to help you plan…
You can download the Weekly Time Distribution Sheet here or you can print the same document directly from the embedded one below.

The purpose of this sheet is to find the minimum of ten hours to commit toward network building. As earlier alluded, network building specifically involves four key activities, these being prospecting and inviting, the OPP, the kit handover and the orientation.
These four need a minimum of ten hours weekly for the business to work, as anything less will make the business stall and fail to blossom. These minimum ten hours do not include the other two legs (consumption and selling, training) which need extra time beside our minimum ten hours.
Example given…
John Smith works a full time job from 9hrs to 17hrs but has decided he really wants to get serious in working toward establishing his own networking business in order to become financially free and schedules his time as follows…
Monday — From 18hrs to 21hrs – 3hrs (Drops and collections, Books and DVDs)
Tuesday — From 13hrs to 14hrs – 1hrs (Calls and emails)
Wednesday — From 18hrs to 21hrs – 3hrs (Drops and collections, Books and DVDs)
Thursday — From 13hrs to 14hrs – 1hrs (Calls and emails)
Friday — From 18hrs to 21hrs – 3hrs (Downline support)
Saturday — From 10hrs to 13hrs – 3hrs (OPP – Office)
Sunday — From 15hrs to 18hrs – 3hrs (Downline support)
John works it out so that he can make his calls and schedule appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays during his lunch break. He also drops and collects his packages (booklets, DVDs) and perhaps even some flyer presentations. He has also scheduled Friday and Sunday for helping his downlines with three way presentations, conducting kit handovers and orientations.
The secret that will ensure that John succeeds is his ability to stick with this plan and put in his fair share of daily activity. This business is like running a marathon, it’s not about speed, it’s about consistency. Keep up the daily activities that entail network building and he will realize success along the way.
If John wants to sell some of the time in order to make more money from the retail side of things, he will need to find extra time from his schedule to do so. Also, since training is very important, he will need to find some time for personal development and other related training. At Tiens, we have the OPP, product training and through your uplines, the kit handover and orientation. You also have this resource on the internet as well as emails with various topics to help you build and establish your business.
So, if you haven’t yet done it, please schedule your week now and do not proceed beyond this topic and lesson before doing so.
